Driver S Trotter defended a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) alleging he drove carelessly passing the 1000m by displaying a lack of control when activating gear resulting in his runner becoming awkwardly placed between PARADISE ALI and SHE'S GOT SASS and breaking in consequence. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Trotter the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and Mr Trotter's driver's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 14 July 2024 (4 days).

After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Trotter's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 9 June up to and including 16 June 2024 (2 days).
